Typed letter signed from American painter and illustrator Maxfield Parrish. Written January 12, 1909 and signed in Parrish's unique and beautiful hand. Sent to "SWEET'S", presumably Sweet's Catalogue (originally introduced in 1906 as Sweet's Indexed Catalogue of Building Construction). Letter has some creasing where it was folded and minor discoloration on the top and upper right side. Otherwise in good condition.
Maxfield Parrish was an American painter and illustrator active in the first half of the 20th century. His works featured distinctive saturated hues and idealized neo-classical imagery. The National Museum of American Illustration deemed his painting Daybreak (1922) to be the most successful art print of the 20th century. Binding: Unbound
