Large and vibrant poster showing 524 flags of the peoples of the world and world map. The flags of different peoples of the world are arranged in alphabetical order, with their names listed beneath the flags. They are also numbered, corresponding to the world map near the title, where the numbers indicate the geographical locations of each nation. In very good condition. Folded as issued, with very minor wear at intersections of fold lines.
Don Pottinger (1919-1986) was a Scottish officer of arms, artist, illustrator and author. He was appointed Islay Herald of Arms in Ordinary and Lyon Clerk and Keeper of the Records at Lyon Court in 1981. He is best remembered as a heraldic painter and portrait painter.
