Unusual map of Spain and the Strait of Gibraltar in Latin, Greek and Hebrew., with north oriented to the left. Relief is shown pictorially. Beautiful blue hand coloring in the sea and a decorative cartouche featuring a cherub with maps and mapmaking tools make this an eye-catching find. From the rare Geographa Sacra which included multi-lingual maps. The map is in very good condition.

Samuel Bochart (1599-1667) was a French bible scholar.
