Charles Smith (1768 - 1854) was a map and globe seller, publisher and stationer in London. He was appointed as map seller to the Prince of Wales in 1809 and traded as "Charles Smith and Son" from 1826-1854. He was succeeded by his son William Smith and later his grandson Guildford Smith. The business would eventually be taken over by the George Philip firm in 1916.
