Several Short Poems

New York: Henry Holt, 1924.

Scarce bi-fold pamphlet entitled "Several Short Poems" measuring 5.75 x 9 inches. Four pages total with six poems, signed by Frost in black ink on the front. Illustrated with 2 woodcut vignettes by J.J. Lankes. New York: Henry Holt and Company, [1924]. Faint dampstain on the margins at upper corner and the signature is just a bit smudged, still a very good sharp and clean copy of this early piece of Frost ephemera. Scarce in any form, but far more uncommon when signed by the poet.

Limited to 2000 copies, this pamphlet was printed as a give-away on Frost's east coast college lecture circuit. It features the poems "The Pasture", Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening", "The Oven Bird", "An Old Man's Winter Night", "The Runaway" and "Nothing Gold can Stay". --Crane A8
