Gunther of this city has informed me that you have been considering certain artists with the idea of having some portraits painted and also suggested I write to you. If you have not yet commissioned and artist to do the work I should be pleased to do it for you. I am an exhibitor in the Paris Salon and have portraits in the Union League Club and in the Historical Society's collection in this city. If you will do me the honor to call at my studio when you are in the city I shall take pleasure in showing you other examples of my work..." Condition: irregular toning with occasional foxing but still in very good condition.
