Dublin: James McGlashan, 1847. First edition. Spine is lightly faded and rubbed at extremities; previous owner's bookplate, still a very good(+) copy of this rather scarce book.

Published anonymously, this is an early book by Le Fanu, who is now remembered mostly for his more macabre gothic ghost stories.
