This World War I poster features bold red lettering and depicts two Red Cross workers attending to two French soldiers, one of which lies on a stretcher. A Red Cross flag flies from the branch of a nearby tree and ruined buildings can be seen in the background.This poster is in good condition. Some creases and edge wear. Original linen backing. The International Committee of the Red Cross, along with its national societies from both sides of the conflict, rushed to northern France to assist both military and civilian victims.
