Northampton, MA: 1964. 1 page on personal stationery, 11 x 8.5 inches, written at the conclusion of a letter from Bacal who had asked Baskin for a memento in the form of a personal note and a photograph, June 15 1964. The artist replied: "Dear Mr. Bacal: what you ask is idiotic & out of context. You should know better, Leonard Baskin." Horizontal folds; very good(+) condition.
