Written by the president of the Long Island Railroad and New York City reformer to the business manager (later editor) of the Brooklyn Eagle, in part: "...I shall take up the question of the publication of the Annual Report of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company with the Secretary to-day. You are not only entitled to every reasonable consideration from us, but you will always get it..." Accompanied by a 5.25 x 3.75-inch printed photograph. Purple typewriter ink blurred in the letter; horizontal folds. Very good condition.
