Description: Autographed manuscript signed -- a gloomy view of Great Britain's economic future. 15 lines, folio, written on a sheet of pure vellum, measuring 12 x 15.5 inches, in part: "In my 81st year...with profound pain I foresee an era of calamities for our anti-social industrial system, and also for our abnormal British Empire. The universal unrest of Labour will not cease..." Together with two autographed letters signed by Harrison, one submitting the manuscript, but Not For Publication; the other reiterating his demand that the missive remain private. Hawkhurst, Kent, July 8, 1912. Very good condition.
