1938. Etching, aquatint and drypoint on paper. Signed in pencil. Image measures 9.75" x 8". This lovely print shows Madison Square Park and centers around a large flagpole in the foreground. At the center is the New York Life Building, completed only 10 years earlier. The atmospheric sky and light glinting off the building's gilded roof are the result of the artist selectively wiping the platetone. The print is in excellent condition.
