1981. Rare black-and-white photograph, 5.25 x 3.5 inches, signed "A. Bani Sadr" by the Iranian President who was exiled to France by Ayatollah Khomeini. This photo depicts a stylishly mustached Bani-Sadr wearing a sports jacket, open collared shirt, and glasses. Includes a handwritten letter of transmittal in French, on 7.75 x 9-inch lined paper with "Le Bureau Du President A. Bani-Sadr" stamp. "...Veuillez, Monseiur accepter l'agreation de mes sentiments distingues..."

Inside covers and flyleaves are beige silk moire. The spine is decoratively inlaid with leaves and bunches of grapes.....
