First Edition.; First state with "Fame and Fortune" announced for December, and Dick standing alone on the engraved half-title. Good copy of a book frequently found in deplorable condition. The book is cocked; minor blistering and staining on covers; repair to inner front hinge; pencillled bibliographic notes on endpaper, but altogether attractive.
