John Seller (c. 1630-1697) was an English instrument maker and cartographer and in 1671 he was appointed Hydrographer to the King. His signature in Arabic at the conclusion of a letter, 1.5 x 7.25 inches, no place, 1961, identifying him as the Permanent Representative of the United Nations and President of the General Assembly. Unevenly trimmed, but still in very good condition. Twice jailed Tunisian diplomat who became the first African to become President of the United Nations General Assembly in 1961. More
