Paris: 1651. Extra engraved title by Richer, but lacking the main title page, and lacking the 2nd engraved title for Theologie. The book consists solely of 62 double-page text engravings -- 51 for Philosophie Morale & 11 Theologie Naturelle. [Paris, 1651]. Very clean. Volumes 4 & 5 of "La Philosophie Expliquee en Tableaux Synoptiques"

Bound in full contemporary brown calf; a Parisian trade binding with blind-ruled borders, gilt-stamped corner fleurons & central floral medallion (well-worn at tips with front cover detached and some loss at foot of spine). Coloniae: ex officina Heronis Alopecii, 1540. A very good(-) copy. A very nice edition - apparently the second -.....
