Walton, 1852. First Edition. Josiah Quincy, Jr., had been treasurer of the Vermont Central Railroad. He disagreed with the railroad's financing plans for the railroad's expansion. Quincy wrote a pamphlet critical of the railroad's finances. This pamphlet is the board of directors reply to Quincy's criticisms.
