Newton: Bird & Bull, 1996. 12mo, blue cloth folder with cameo cut in which is inserted a facsimile of Charles Meinier's 1900 Plaquette "La Relieuse" created by the artist Maurice Favre. The original medallions were likely given to Meunier's bookbinding customers as referenced by "amis de la maison du livre" on reverse. This is an exact reproduction, cast in pewter, showing a woman seated at the binder's table, hard at work. 2pp prospectus is laid-in. Newton: Bird & Bull Press.....
