1820. Autograph manuscript signed in full. Contains two stanzas (16 lines) of a poem entitled "The Old Kirk Yard," 1 page, gray paper, dry mounted on foxed, white paper, 7 x 4.5 inches. In part: "Oh mourn not for them their grief is o'er, Oh weep not for them they weep no more; For deep in their sleep, tho' cold and hard, Their pillow may be in the old Kirk yard."
