Bass-baritone opera star who was an original member of the Belcanto Trio, with Mario Lanza and Francis Yeend. As a star of the Vienna State Opera, he sang opposite Maria Callas. Tragically, his career came to an abrupt end in 1967 due to a paralyzed vocal chord. More
