This rare and incredible woodblock Japanese pedagogical map by Chisokukan Shokyoku is a geography-teaching object from a school classroom during the Meiji period. Dating to 1875, the map is divided into blocks, with four showing eastern and western hemispheres, longitude and latitude, eleven showing land forms, and seven showing scenes.
