Narrative of a British soldier who joined the 1858 United States filibustering expedition to liberate Cuba. He was among a total of 285 on the expedition.

New York: Harper, 1865 Text contains list of all cavalry units that fought in the Civil War along with name of each unit's commanding officer. Author was a colonel in the Ninth Illinois Volunteer Cavalry and Chief of the Cavalry of the Department of the Missouri.....
