This charmingly odd map of North America celebrates the entrance of Hawaii and Alaska into the Union by accurately capturing the entire geographical spread of the United States. While the decision to show the continent skewed toward the right results in a large expanse of the Pacific Ocean being rendered, the map capitalizes on this effect by including the paths of many historical voyages, such as those.....
