This print provides a lovely view of the Old Mulford House, a colonial farmhouse in Easthampton, basking in the shadow of a tree in the front yard. Hassam has rendered both with a remarkable Impressionist penstroke which appears spontaneous and immediate even in the more enduring medium of etching.
