Aylett, VA. Exceptional signature: "B.B. Douglas - Aylett - Virginia", executed on a 5.5" x 2" slip of paper, and most likely written during his tenure as a member of the United States House of Representatives. Fine condition. American politician from Virginia who also saw service as a Confederate military officer and member of the Confederate States of America Senate.
