London: Sotheran, 1882. 36 fine chromolithographs, printed by the Firmin-Didot, depicting Mediaeval ornamentation as it applies to various architectural structures, each with unnumbered text pages. viii + 32 pages, slim folio, original brown pebbled cloth with gilt title. The authors were practicing architects and wrote the book to meet the demands of growing interest for the gothic period. London: Henry Sotheran & Co., 1882. First Edition. Small ex-libris stamp at foot of title page and a few small ink numbers.....
