First Edition of parts II and III (complete in themselves) of the author's "Lehre von den blutigen Operationen," seven parts of which were published between 1853 and 1866, without completing the work. It was issued with the collaboration of Ritterich, Streubel, Hennig, Schmidt, Kuhn, and Berger. Gunther (1801-1866) was professor of surgery in Kiel, and an excellent teacher.
