Dynamic visuals along a spectrum illustrate electronics including the cathode-ray tube, the phototube, the ignitron, the kenotron, the klystron, the pilotron, the thyratron, and the x-ray tube, with images depicting applied uses of the technologies. "Altogether the sum is electronics, a new industry whose growth is being forced at a prodigious rate by war." Designed by Vardo, in collaboration with Warren Stokes and Antonio Petruccelli. Issued as a supplement to the July 1943 issue of Fortune Magazine.
