This charming pictorial map contains thousands of tiny details, including all the information necessary to plan the perfect Florida vacation in 1950. Produced by the Gulf Oil Company's Touring Bureau, this map lists tourist destinations, topographical features, roads, hunting and fishing information, country and golf clubs, and much more. Fish and wildlife are also shown pictorially, each fish species accurately depicted and placed on the map where they are commonly found. On the verso is a mileage table, a map of the southeastern U.S. from Indianapolis to Florida with a South Florida inset, and maps of the Western section of Florida, St. Petersburg and Tampa, and Cuba. This special map is replete with detailed illustrations and cartoons showing off all Florida has to offer.
In good condition, some minor tears at original foldline intersections. Beautifully crisp image and vibrant colors. Binding: Unbound
