Carefully engraved portrait of Mungo Park, a Scottish explorer whose travels in West Africa informed European geographical knowledge of Africa's interior in the early 19th century. This print is in excellent condition, some staining not near the image. It was engraved by Demarchi after Sasso, and published by Bettalli and Fanfani in "Serie di vite e ritratti de Famosi Personaggi degli ultimi Tempi," 1815-1818. Language: English
