This double sided map of Florida published in 1941 features a charming pictorial map titled "Historical Scenic Map of Florida" with 24 illustrated vignettes of major landmarks and points of interest. Surrounding the historical scenic map are three insets of Miami, West Palm Beach, and Daytona Beach. On the same sheet is a map of the Eastern United States, with mileage chart, and main through routes shown in red.

Verso shows the state in full color showing U.S. state highways, post roads, ferries and boat lines, rivers and streams, national forests, state parks, and recreation areas. Features insets of Tampa and St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, and the Western Section of Florida. Includes a mileage chart with distances between major cities, and a table listing towns and populations.

Produced by Rand McNally & Co. for Sun Oil Co. (Sunoco). In very good condition, with wear along original fold lines and some minor loss wear some fold lines intersect.

Rand McNally is an American publishing company specializing in maps, atlases and globes. Founded by William Rand in 1856, who hired Andrew McNally in 1858 to work in his shop. The two men formally established Rand McNally & Co. in 1868. The firm remains in business today.
