The Coronal. A Collection of Miscellaneous Pieces.

Boston: Carter and Hendee, 1832.

Frontispiece engraving, protected with tissue. 285 pages. 12mo, original green cloth with burgundy leather label (cloth rubbed but sound with spine evenly sunned; light foxing throughout). Boston: Carter and Hendee, 1832. First edition. Overall a very good copy of this uncommon book, inscribed by the author to the daughter of William Cullent Bryant: "To Mrs, Frances Bryant with the kind regards of the author".

Rare collection with a couple of fantasy pieces. Child was an American abolitionist and women's rights activist. Binding is aged with fading, splitting to the cloth at the spine, and heavy rubbing. Block has some staining to the lower end throughout but is largely in good shape.
