This bird's eye view of Rome offers a unique vantage point of the city from an elevated perspective, showcasing its districts, landmarks, streets, railways, fortifications, cultivated land, and other points of interest. Bulla issued several editions of this map, all undated. Later editions show the continued development of Rome's tramway system. He also made adjustments to the legend. This copy appears to be the same as the edition held by Harvard (990110655760203941). In very good condition, with some foxing, minor losses near the intersections of the fold lines. Previous owners' inscription next to title, "E.B.Howard, Rome, 1892 April 26th". Beautiful coloring with index.
