Large pictorial world map centered on the western Pacific with text in Indonesian highlighting natural resources, commerce, and cultural landmarks. Cities are labeled with their toponyms, and distances of major trade routes are indicated. This unusual Indonesian edition was published circa 1952, after an uncommon mid-century German pictorial map published in 1947 by the same authors, titled "Diese Weltkarte Zeigt Die Arbett Des Menschen Und Die Schatze Und Wirtschaftsguter Der Erde". In very good condition with wide margins, staining at right. Very scarce. No institutional copies.
