Historical Map of New York City; Key to numbers on reverse side
National City Bank of New York, 1931.
Map. Offset lithograph. 17 x 20 1/2 inches.
Beautiful pictorial map of New York City illustrating historic sites and events through the early 19th century. All keyed to locations of National City Bank offices as of 1932. Verso lists 81 bank locations clearly noted on the map. An inset of Upper New York Bay between Staten Island, Manhattan and Brooklyn shows the famous Vanderbilt Ferry route. Oriented with north to the upper right. Light toning in the margins and a small crease lower right, otherwise in good condition. A wonderfully composed map of NYC visualizing it's history.
