Extensively labeled, the map shows stone walls, shelters, and houses, trails, ruins, lakes, rivers, crevasses, moraines, rocks, screes, sparce vegetation areas, depressions, forest, low forest, and bushes. Spot heights are indicated. Chinese and Nepali place names are used throughout. Verso features a computer-generated landscape portrait of the surrounding region, colored to indicate land cover. An impressive map exemplifying an international cartographic effort.
