A World War I recruiting poster, in the form of a news broadside, for the women's auxiliary navy. Bold text on a dark blue background proclaims the need for women's involvement and, at the bottom, lists the addresses of New York City recruiting stations. Many of the approximately 13,000 women who joined the auxiliary navy supported the war effort by doing clerical work. It is in good condition, with some chips to margins, unlined.
