Aspen Magazine was a three dimensional "magazine" created by Phyllis Johnson, published on an irregular schedule between 1965 and 1971. Each issue was a graphic box containing various unusual elements. "This issue, created and curated by Andy Warhol, is widely considered the most desirable of the magazine's run, because of the inclusion of the Velvet Underground flexi-disc, which is considered the first of the band's commercially available recordings (though some sources say it was likely preceded by a few advance copies of two verve singles)."
