Accomplished cross stitch embroidered sampler created to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V in 1935. It would appear that this design was sold as a printed transfer for people to stitch over to create the patterns, wording and images. British Colonies are stitched in red in the double hemisphere world map in the center of the design. George's five children are included in the template along with Colonial scenes of hunting, sailing and military.
