The front joint has been repaired and re-enforced with black cloth hinge, stiill a very good copy, internally fine.
Reynard the Fox - a medieval fable populated by a variety of humanized animals. Goethe's translation of this fable first appeared in 1794 and with Kaulbach's illustrations in 1846.
