This lovely single page illustration issued in the August 5, 1882 edition of Harper's Weekly, depicts Mackinac Island, Michigan. The illustration features several views from the island, showing the town, the fort, the beach, and various rock formations on the island. Drawn by Charles Graham. In good condition, with minor chips and toning along edges, not affecting image.

Harper's Weekly was a New York-based illustrated political magazine published from 1857 until 1916. The magazine featured foreign and domestic news, fiction, essays on many subjects, and humor. Its most well-known contributor was Thomas Nast, who made his career doing political cartoons for the publication.
