An Exact Representation of the Grand Funeral Car which carried the Remains of Lord Nelson to St Pauls on Thursday January 9th 1806
London: S. W. Fores, 1806.
Aquatint with hand coloring and text extension pasted down. 12 1/2 x 10 inches. Some foxing and toning.
An unusual depiction of the funeral car which carried the coffin of Lord Nelson to St Paul's Cathedral. Underneath the print is a short piece of text in English authenticating the exact representation as drawn directly from the car. The funeral car design was like that of HMS Victory and carried trophies from some of the ships he defeated in battle.
