This striking World War I poster issued by the YMCA in 1918 features a painting of soldiers standing in the snow, approaching a warm and inviting YMCA building. At the top of the poster are the insignias of YMCA and YWCA, and the title 'His Home Over There'. Below the image reads 'More than 2000 Such Homes for Our Boys'. This poster was published as part of the United War Work Campaign, a group of seven organizations charged with raising funds for war relief in 1918.
In very good condition. Mounted on linen. Library notations lower right margin. One center fold. Printed signature by artist in bottom right corner. Colors are vibrant and beautiful.
