Autograph note signed: "Edward Hasted", oblong 8vo. 1 page, May 3rd 1803, acknowledging to have received of Messrs' Leigh and Sotheby payment for a folio set of his acclaimed "History of Kent", in the amount of ten pounds - ten shillings. Mounted to a larger sheet with the original book dealer's 1923 catalog description and price: 12 shillings-6 pence. Fine condition.
