Clear and simple town plan of Venice. Includes elevations of notable buildings along bottom edge, an inset view of the Mint, St. Mark's Church and the Palace, and a plan of the environs of Venice. Minor toning and some damp staining of right sheet. The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge was formed in 1826 and published low cost maps with the goal of reaching a large market, while still maintaining high quality and precision.
