(Interborough Rapid Transit Company) and B.M.T. (Brooklyn Manhattan Transit Corporation) lines. Bus terminals and underground passages are also shown. Verso shows the New Eighth Avenue Subway, which opened as the first IND line (Independent Subway System) on September 10, 1932. Today, the A,B,C, and D trains run along these lines.
