Dazzling poster created for The Festival of Two Worlds (May-July 1967), for which Fuller created The Spoletosphere, a large geodesic dome resting atop a hill in the ancient city of Spoleto, Umbria. The structure, which can seat 350 people, still stands today and has served as a theater, performance, and exhibition venue. The poster is inscribed to William Crawford, the General Director of the festival, in pen that follows the lines of the geodesic dome. In full: "To William Crawford whose logistical genius played a major roll in the critical moments leading to the successful [...] of the Spoletosphere - In friendship, Buckminster Fuller, July 5, 1967".
