It is very pleasant, when I'm alone and the flat is silent, to hear the lovely Orphean voice of John Gielgud speaking as few can speak, making me listen, filling up the silence with such sweet voices. It is a beautiful record. Thanks too, for your kind words in the printed pages of The Guardian. My good wishes and warm regards to you." Condition: Four small pin holes in the field - otherwise in very good condition. Finely framed with cream mat and rubbed-silver frame together with a close-up black and white photo.
