Plate 41 from Augustissimorum Imperatorum, a catalog of arms and armor collected by Archduke Ferdinand II at Ambras Castle, first published in Innsbruck c. 1600 in celebration of the world famous chamber of art and wonders. Dominicus Custos (1560-1612) was a Flemish artist, printer and copperplate engraver, who worked in the service of Emperor Rudolph II in Prague.
