Important map of New York, New England, Pennsylvania and Virginia when it was claimed by the Dutch. Includes a beautiful panorama of New Amsterdam which notes the English hold over the Colony in the title. The Dutch took it back from England briefly in 1673. Philadelphia is noted and had just been founded by William Penn in 1682. Many domestic animals were added to entice colonists. A treat to see in black and white. Burden II, 434 (state 2)
